Installing Duo Mobile on a smart device

If you will be using Duo on a smart device we recommend downloading the Duo Mobile App first.

Installing Duo Mobile App - Android Device

1.       Turn on and unlock your Android device.

2.       Tap the Apps icon in the bottom-right of your home screen (it usually looks like a bundle of dots at the bottom of the screen.

3.       Swipe left and right until you find the Play Store icon.

4.       Tap the icon. If this is your first time signing into the Play store you might be prompted to enter your Google credentials and payment (you can skip this step).

5.       Tap the very top of the App that says “Google Play”. Older versions you will see a magnifying glass. Tap it and type in “Duo Mobile”.

6.       Results will be presented for apps, movies, and books.

7.       Select Duo Mobile.  If you do not see Duo Mobile as an option, to the right of the Apps subheading, tap “more” button to see the full listing of results.

8.       Once you find the Duo Mobile application, tap the three dots to the right of the app to install right away.

9.       Once the download has completed, the app can be launched from your home screen.

Installing Duo Mobile App- iPhone

1.       Turn on and unlock your iPhone.

2.       From the home screen, tap App Store.

3.       Tap the “Search” button at the bottom of the screen.

4.       Type in “Duo Mobile” at the top of your screen.

5.       Tap the “Free” button next to the App’s picture.

6.       Tap Install.

7.       You will be prompted to enter your iTunes password.

NOTE: If you forget this password, please go to https://iforgot.apple.com and follow the prompts.

8.       Click OK.

9.       The application should now be available on your home screen.

Installing Duo Mobile App- Windows Phone

1.       On Start, tap Marketplace. If prompted, sign in with your Windows Live ID.

NOTE: If you do not remember your Windows Live account credentials, please visit https://account.live.com/resetpassword.aspx and follow the prompts.

2.       Tap Search.

3.       Type Duo Mobile into the Search box.

4.       Locate the Duo Mobile.

5.       Tap Install (you might be prompted twice) to download it.
